Talay Logistics has signed a cooperation agreement with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, one of the world’s largest logistics companies, covering transport between Europe and Türkiye.
Talay Logistics has signed a cooperation agreement with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, one of the world’s largest logistics companies. As a first step under the partnership, which will organise transport between Türkiye and Europe, two container depots have been established in Osnabrück and Augsburg. Onur Talay, CEO of Talay Logistics, said that with this agreement they will further increase efficiency in transport between Türkiye and Europe and make the most of Hellmann WWL’s 150 years of experience. Emphasising that the two container depots in Germany will serve as critical hubs, Talay said this will enable faster and safer transport across Europe.

“We contribute to environmental sustainability”
Noting that they carry out approximately 70,000 shipments a year by Ro-Ro, Onur Talay said: “From Türkiye, we first reach Trieste by Ro-Ro. We then transfer to block trains running to major trade and production hubs such as Wels in Austria and Duisburg, Cologne and Munich in Germany. In this way, we save an average of 2,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year, making a significant contribution to environmental sustainability.”

“Through our partnership, we have made logistics more attractive”
Chen Si Hellmann, Head of International Rail Services at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, underlined that the partnership with Talay Logistics will not be limited to speed and efficiency: “Our agreement will also bring an important benefit: helping our customers achieve their sustainability goals. By offering reliable intermodal transport solutions backed by Talay Logistics’ intermodal strength, we provide a viable alternative that reduces CO₂ emissions. This approach also improves drivers’ quality of life by reducing the need for long-distance driving.” Chen Si Hellmann added that the partnership with Talay Logistics aligns perfectly with the company’s goals by making logistics more attractive and more people-centred.
