Marking its 10th anniversary with a major transformation, Sarp Intermodal has brought its activities together under the name Talay Logistics. Announcing the name change and corporate transformation at a special event held at the Esma Sultan Mansion, the company will now operate as an integrated structure providing services in every area of logistics beyond intermodal. Onur Talay, CEO of Talay Logistics, said they would move towards bigger goals with their renewed brand.
Sarp Intermodal, Türkiye’s first company established with a focus on intermodal transport, has become Talay Logistics in its 10th anniversary year. Known for its intermodal transport to many parts of the world, Europe in particular, as well as for its growth and export figures, the company will now continue its activities under the name Talay Logistics.
Having completed its transformation process, Talay Logistics celebrated the brand change together with all its stakeholders at a special event held at the Esma Sultan Mansion.
At the evening hosted by Yosi Mizrahi, professional guide Saffet Emre Tonguç gave an Istanbul-themed talk. Numerous well-known figures from the worlds of business, arts and sports attended the event, where Kenan Doğulu took the stage. Guests enjoyed Kenan Doğulu’s popular hits throughout the evening.
“We Have Become an End-to-End Service Provider”
Addressing the guests at the event, Talay Logistics CEO Onur Talay said: “Ten years ago, we achieved a first in Türkiye as the first company established with a focus on intermodal transport and dedicated to this mode. Through the steps we took and the investments we made as Sarp Intermodal, we have become an end-to-end logistics company that has more than proven itself not only in intermodal transport but also in sea, air and road freight, contract logistics and customs services.”
Noting that, with the transformation, all of their companies operating in logistics have been brought together under one roof, Talay said: “As a company that has always placed change and development at its core, today we are also undergoing a transformation. With our renewed brand, we will move towards bigger goals.”
Emphasising that they are working to further improve the services they offer to their customers, Talay said: “We will make even greater efforts to use technology more effectively and to do our business more sustainably than ever.”

Talay noted that the journey they started 10 years ago has turned into a large company of around 1,000 people today. Pointing out that through their investments over the past 10 years they have reached thousands of vehicles and pieces of equipment, Talay said they have become the logistics partner of thousands of national and international brands and have carried out tens of thousands of import and export shipments.
Talay added that they made Türkiye’s first 100% electric tractor unit investment, that they have always attached great importance to green logistics practices, and that with their growth and export figures they have been among the leaders of the sector for the past three years.
