Talay Logistics Strengthens Digital Infrastructure with SAP

Talay Logistics Strengthens Digital Infrastructure with SAP

Talay Logistics has transitioned to SAP to increase efficiency in its international operations and support its sustainability goals. Murat Keskin, CFO of Talay Logistics, stated that this move will allow the company to achieve its targets for managing business processes more effectively.

Closing the previous year with a record investment of 900 million TL, Talay Logistics has also signed off on a major investment for its infrastructure. The company has begun utilizing SAP as part of its objectives for digital transformation, sustainability, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Murat Keskin, CFO of Talay Logistics, noted that the transition to SAP aligns with their goals of managing business processes more efficiently and gaining a competitive advantage on a global scale. Keskin stated:

“SAP’s powerful finance and accounting modules, along with its comprehensive consolidated reporting capabilities, played a crucial role in shaping our future strategy. We are proud to be the first logistics company in Türkiye to utilize SAP’s most up-to-date version, S/4HANA Cloud, in real-time.”

Passing the SAP Advantage to Customers

Highlighting that SAP’s strong integration capabilities allow them to further optimize business processes, Keskin said: “By bringing together finance, accounting, treasury, production, human resources, and many other business processes, SAP further strengthens the way we do business.”

Keskin mentioned that they have started working with SAP integrated into their in-house developed ERP software on the logistics operations side. He shared: “Through this, we will gain effective inventory management, improved planning processes, and real-time monitoring capabilities. We plan to achieve continuous improvement by measuring the benefits of these changes through customer satisfaction, speed, and cost control.”

Innovative Transformation in Work Culture and Operational Processes

Keskin pointed out that the transition to SAP represents more than just a technological shift; it symbolizes an evolution in their work culture and operational processes. “During this period, we observed with great pleasure our employees’ adaptation and contributions to this innovative transformation. Our commitment to innovation integrates with our strategy to achieve sustainable competitive advantages,” Keskin evaluated.

Emphasizing that they will continue digital transformation investments to capture operational excellence and sustainable growth, Keskin added that these steps will allow them to reach their growth targets more rapidly.
