Talay Logistics is entering 2025 with a strategic “Eastern Europe Move,” launching reciprocal block train services between Italy and Czechia. Onur Talay, CEO of Talay Logistics, stated that they will play an active role on the Slovakia, Hungary, Czechia, Poland, and Romania lines. “With our mega trailers and equipment serving almost every sector, we aim to reach an ambitious market share in Eastern Europe within a year,” he said.
Explaining that the train will depart from the Port of Trieste in Italy—which they reach via Ro-Ro lines—and arrive in Czechia, Talay added:
“We attach great importance to Eastern Europe. We have offices in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, and Bucharest, the capital of Romania. In 2025, we will strengthen our self-owned fleet in the region with vehicle investments featuring Czech and Polish license plates. Our block train services, which will start as three reciprocal trips per week, are targeted to run six days a week in the second half of the year.”
Expanding Distribution Power Across Europe
Talay emphasized that this strategic move will benefit clients across the continent: “With our Italy–Czechia block train initiative, we will multiply our distribution power both in this region and throughout Europe, providing time and cost advantages to our exporter and importer customers. In 2025, we will launch our Talay Czechia, Talay Slovakia, and Talay Hungary companies, completing our target map alongside Poland and Romania.”
