Talay Logistics Collaborates with Hellmann

Talay Logistics has signed a collaboration agreement with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, one of the world’s largest logistics companies, for transportation services between Europe and Türkiye.

Talay Logistics has entered into a collaboration agreement with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, one of the world’s largest logistics companies. As the initial step in the collaboration to organize transports between Türkiye and Europe, two container warehouses have been established in Osnabrück and Augsburg. Onur Talay, CEO of Talay Logistics, stated that the agreement will enhance the efficiency of transports between Türkiye and Europe by leveraging Hellmann WWL’s 150 years of experience. Talay emphasized that the two container warehouses in Germany will serve as key hubs, facilitating faster and safer transports across Europe.

We contribute to environmental sustainability”

Onur Talay noted that they carry out approximately 70,000 shipments per year via Ro-Ro, and said: “Departing from Türkiye by Ro-Ro, we first reach Trieste. We then transfer to block trains heading to key trade and production centers, including Wels in Austria, and Duisburg, Cologne, and Munich in Germany. In doing so, we make a significant contribution to environmental sustainability by saving an average of 2,000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions per year.”

We have made logistics more attractive through collaboration”

Chen Si Hellmann, Head of International Rail Services at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, emphasized that the partnership with Talay Logistics will extend beyond just speed and efficiency. Hellmann said: “The agreement will also help our customers achieve their sustainability goals. By offering reliable intermodal transport solutions that leverage Talay Logistics’ strengths, we provide a viable alternative that reduces CO₂ emissions. This approach also enhances drivers’ quality of life by minimizing the need for long-distance driving.” Chen Si Hellmann added that the collaboration with Talay Logistics aligns perfectly with the company’s objectives of making logistics more appealing and focused on people.

Over 150 years of experience, 12,000 employees

Operating in 57 countries worldwide, Hellmann has 243 offices and over 12,200 employees, offering services across all areas of logistics backed by more than 150 years of experience. Last year, Hellmann completed 20 million shipments and achieved a turnover of €3.5 billion.
